My apologies...

Well I am 9 days away from my due date and couldn't be more anxious/frantic. I just can't seem to get everything done:) The nesting instinct is taking over my life and I find myself scrubbing walls, making lists, and updating the blog from a 5 month sabbatical! I am driving everyone around me crazy including myself!!! I am so sorry to all of you and promise I will try to find my regular, less-motivated self soon!
Until then, good luck!
Sincerely,
The Evil Twin

April

Happy Easter! Kenadee had so much fun this year coloring eggs and especially hunting them! Its ALL she wanted to do! I finally put the eggs away around July. It was time. Its so fun to see her get so excited for holidays. It makes me think back to how excited I got as a kid and hope I can make them as fun for her as my mom did for me! Thanks Mom!

March

Ahh... the annual St. George Trip with the fam! Always a much needed spring break. Kenadee and Reese had a ball swimming and relaxing together. They even managed to break out of the LOCKED condo for about 5 minutes and give us all a heart attack! We found them running wild about 5 buildings down. Little stinkers. Can't wait for them to be teenagers.oy.

February

Another busy month! First, Kenadee got to experience first hand the benefits of living in Morgan and having a cowboy for an uncle! Cole took Ally an Kena sledding behind his horse in the field next to my parents house and they had a ball!
Next it was Valentines Day and Kenadee had blast drawing Valentines Cards and making treats for her Grandma's, Grandpas, and cousins. She decorated her own heart shaped rice crispy treats (wish I had a picture of them!) they were hillarious and she enjoyed every minute of it. especially eating the icing from the tube! Kena also got her own flowers delivered to the door on Valentines Day thanks to Papa Cary and a valentines day mix up:) He is going to have to do this every year I think now! She was so proud of her VERY OWN flowers! She had to water them everyday and put them on her own table in her room- funny! And to finish out the month we had a Potty Party at Fat Cats/ the Pizza Factory with Reese (Kena requested the venue-she LOVES that place) Yep- finally potty trained wahoo!! maybe the most frustrating thing I've done as a parent so far. I really have a lot to learn in the patience department! I will say she has done amazingly well with it once she decided it was HER idea and nobody elses:)

January

No pictures to be found for January. Surprise Surprise! Most of this month is a blur... I know New Years was a bust because the 3 of us all got the most violent stomach flu I think I have ever experienced. It was so sad to see my little girl so miserable. Most Firsts are exciting and memorable times. I will just say her first stomach flu was not so much exciting but most definitely memorable- yikes! Then Skyler and I celebrated our birthdays and honestly, I know we met up for lunch inbetween skyler's classes but I don't really remember the rest- better luck next year:)! I can't complain though, I will take lunch out with Skyler anyday! One thing I do remember about January is Basketball, Basketball and more Basketball!!!! Skyler played in his regular Monday night league with his Dad and they had a very successful season winning the championship for the first time ever!!! It was a battle and funny to watch the rivalry between friends! Skyler was also in charge of Churchball in our ward this year so he had two more nights dedicated to basketball since he had to play with the adults one night and coach the Young Men another. I think he was really disappointed that his life was filled with so much basketball (wink wink)

December

December is always an exciting month! We did the usual sledding, snowman building, holiday decorating etc., and it amazes me just how fun such things can be for a 2 year old! Kenadee got the biggest kick out of "Santa's Helpers" that visited her each day and left little treats in her advent calendar. She also couldn't wait to see what they would bring to the door each night as she received the 12 days of Christmas from some other "special helpers"! I can safely say this holiday season was the best ever! Kenadee was a little ball of energy and excitement. The look of sheer joy on her face when she saw her toys from Santa was worth more than any Christmas gift I could have received by a longshot! I had the best time watching her enjoy every little thing so completely! I can't wait for next year! (and as always, I need to post more pics of christmas day, sitting on santa's lap etc.) but here are a few for now:)
